Prancing Paws knows how underappreciated the pet grooming industry can, unfortunately, be, especially with how popular it has become within the last 10 years. In challenging this, we are offering $28/hr for Receptionists and 40% commission for all Pet Stylists after their initial 90 day probation, or training period. As pet professionals, we believe this may be one of the most demanding pet-involved jobs. We believe, not only in this crushing economy, but also for your time and talent, you should receive the pay you deserve.

Competitive Pay.

Along with paid holiday ($35/hr) for Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, the day after Christmas and New Years Day, we also offer 7 days of guaranteed paid vacation time at $28/hr, valid after your 90 day probation. Along with this, after one year of non-broken employment with Prancing Paws, you will receive (up to) a $500 Christmas bonus.

Being a luxury, one on one grooming salon, every pet we see is taken care of without kennel time from drop off to pick up. We believe that eliminating kennels from the grooming process is less stressful on you and the pet alike. Without kennels, you are able to give your client their undivided attention from start to finish. This ensures that, not only do you avoid getting behind, but you are able to deliver the highest quality styling you’re capable of. Prancing Paws cares tremendously more about quality rather than quantity.

Need to pamper your own pet? You get one bath, per pet, per month. YES! Even if you have five pups! That’s five free tubbies a month!

We got you covered on tool sharpening too! Every 3-6 months, depending on demand on service.
